Billy and Eloise

Whangamata, NZ

Billy and Eloise had a perfect spring day and one of the best sunsets I’ve ever had at a wedding! I love the way these two look at each other. They really do have a fairytale love.

They said their vows in the little Catholic Chapel in Whangamata and held the reception five minutes up the road at the golf course. With Billys’ family from Niue and Eloise being part Filipino their day was rich with elements of their cultural heritage. During the reception Billy’s family performed a traditional Nieuan dance and an emotional haka. Eloise secretly learned a dance with Billy’s cousins to surprise him on the day, he was so taken aback he was brought to tears. Eloise had told me she’d named herself an “unofficial Disney Princess” and boy, she really did look like a princess! She found her dream dress from Hera Couture and along with her flower crown and smile, she was absolutely radiant. It was a day made in Disney heaven, full of so many memorable moments.

I hope you enjoy exploring the highlights of their magical day below.

Sarah beautifully captured the most precious memories of our wedding day! We LOVE all our photos so much and couldn’t imagine having any other photographer.

Sarah is always so friendly and very professional, she made us feel very comfortable so our photos never felt forced. We decided to have an engagement shoot with Sarah a few months before our wedding and it was such a great idea as we got to see how she works and this also gave us some practice with getting comfortable in front of the camera. Receiving the engagement photos, we knew we made the right choice.

Sarah has a natural talent when it comes to photography and she will only ever get better. We are so grateful to have had her and will treasure our photos forever.
